Meet Our Team
Teresa Nykilchuk
After more than 20 years as a marketing professional—primarily in the tech sector—I was ready for a new challenge. With a love for spreadsheets and problem-solving, accounting felt like the perfect next step. Now based in Kelowna, BC, I’m in the final semester of my Advanced Diploma in Professional Accounting, working toward my goal of becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Throughout my marketing career, I was always drawn to the numbers behind the strategy. I loved clean data sets, ROI reports, and business plans backed by solid analysis. It wasn’t just about the creative process—it was about real results and helping businesses grow. That same passion drives my work at kCole Bookkeeping, where I get to support hardworking entrepreneurs in building something great. Seeing the dedication and resourcefulness of our clients makes every day rewarding, and I’m thrilled to play a small part in their success.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find me on the water, dragon boating in the summer, or in the kitchen, cooking up a feast for family and friends. Travel has been a huge part of my life—I’ve been to all seven continents and around 40 countries. My career and adventures have taken me across the world, having lived and worked in Australia, the UK, the U.S., and Canada. Wherever I go, I bring that same curiosity and enthusiasm to everything I do—including helping businesses thrive through better bookkeeping.

After spending nearly 20 years as a dental hygienist, I decided it was time for a change — one that would let me lean into my love of numbers, organization, and helping others in a new way. That shift led me into the world of bookkeeping and finance, where I’ve found the perfect blend of precision and purpose.
I bring the same care and attention to detail that I valued in my previous career to every client I work with. I love helping small businesses feel confident and supported when it comes to their financials.
I live in Madison, Wisconsin with my partner, our daughter, and our two pets — so there’s never a dull (or quiet) moment at home. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me listening to music, cooking, spending time with family, or heading up to the Northwoods to relax and recharge.

Hello! I am a current student at the University of Wisconsin–Stout, majoring in Business with a minor in Finance. I’ve always loved working with numbers, but I’m just as interested in connecting with people and understanding the stories behind their businesses. That mix is what drew me to bookkeeping and small business support.
I grew up in a small town in southwest Wisconsin and moved to Menomonie to pursue a degree in Business at the University of Wisconsin–Stout. Coming from a close-knit community shaped my appreciation for hard work, relationships, and the impact small businesses have on the people they serve.
As an intern at kCole Bookkeeping, I am excited to gain hands-on experience while learning how organized, accurate financials can make a real difference for entrepreneurs. I enjoy problem-solving, learning new skills, and being part of a team that genuinely cares about helping clients succeed. I’m excited to grow my knowledge in finance and contribute wherever I can while I continue building toward my future career.
